In the beginning there were jumpers, lots of jumpers… a jumper fetish and an idea. I (Natalie) adore vintage jumpers, mainly massive ones that don’t fit me and I always dreamed of selling beautiful jumpers to beautiful people. They told me I was crazy, Chloe told me I was a genius, and so it began.

Established in the summer of 2012 we are a modest business with a big idea: good quality vintage clothing without the boutique price tag. We both love a bargain, vintage in particular, so it seemed fitting to begin our mission of selling vintage clothing at affordable prices.

As we are just starting out, we happily welcome any constructive criticism on the site and any ideas you lovely people have.

So, why name this new venture Dorothy-May Vintage? Well, Dorothy May was my Nanny. She was a wonderful lady and as a child I remember how she loved it when I helped her paint her nails, or when she got her hair permed. So when it came to naming our business, it just seemed fit to name it after her. Although, despite this wonderful name everyone called her Sally, so maybe Sally Vintage would have been more fitting!
